My main research interest is low-dimensional quantum mechanics, where powerful analytical and numerical tools allow us to
investigate phenomena which are becoming increasingly experimentally relevant. I am currently developing a more refined
model for the proximity effect in chiral quantum Hall edge states, which is both relevant for current experiments on
Andreev bound states and for proposed attempts at finding anyonic quasiparticles in the shape of parafermionic zero modes.
Further interests include odd-frequency superconductivity, cold atom systems, development and application of numerical
methods like DMRG and machine learning, exchange interactions and quantum causality.
